1 | Where did you study?

University of Santo Tomas. I graduated Magna cum Laude in 2006.

2 | Why did you study interior design?

Truthfully, I had no idea what Interior Design was until a good friend told me about it. I was then weary about taking up Architecture, which is a quota course.

3 | What made you decide to start your own firm?

I tried helping out in the family business (food industry) for six months but it was not really meant for me. Thankfully, my parents were so supportive and encouraged me to focus on what I do best—that was the deciding factor. condoliving design 10 questions interior designer isabella robles go

4 | What do you wanna be known for?

I want to be known as a Filipina designer who champions design with a local perspective. Likewise, LIDU aims to go global with designs that have Filipino influences.

Design is CREATIVE PROBLEM SOLVING.

6 | Who’s your design hero?

Milo Naval and Bobby Mañosa

7 | Where do you get your inspiration?

Everywhere. Inspiration is not limited to the things that we see, but also on all factors that affect our senses positively. condoliving design 10 questions interior designer isabella robles go

8 | What’s your ultimate design tip?

Interior Design should be centered on the lifestyle of the client and the function of the space. Aesthetics, for me, is secondary.

9 | What’s your dream project?

A high-end resort development because I’m a beach lover

10 | Where is it best to splurge budget on?

Good quality finishes. We have to make sure that the shell of the spaces are all enveloped with durable and timeless materials. You can easily replace furnishings, but finishes should be long term.
