The Architectural Photography Awards 2019, sponsored by Sto and supported by the World Architecture Festival (WAF) announced the twenty-four shortlisted entries to the six categories: Exterior, Interior, Sense of Place, Buildings in Use, Mobile, and Portfolio. This year’s theme for the Mobile category is ‘Shelter,’ while the theme for the Portfolio category is ‘Social Housing.’ Both of the latter categories will be pre-judged.

The shortlist consists of four entries from 6 categories, selected from nearly 2000 entries from 42 countries, 29 percent of which are from the UK. The photographs will be exhibited at the WAF in Amsterdam from 4-6 December where visitors can vote for the winners. The winners of the Mobile and Portfolio categories and the people’s choice vote, as well as the overall winner, will be announced at the WAF Gala Dinner on the last day of the festival.
