Connecting to The New Modern: Chat Fores on Innovative Interior Design
Chat Fores is the principal designer and owner of Chat Fores Design Studio which she started in 2002. She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Interior Design at Assumption College in 1996. As a licensed interior designer, she worked for six years at Leandro V. Locsin Partners and afterward began establishing her own firm. Currently, she also serves as an executive director for the esteemed Philippine Institute of Interior Designers, PIID. She’s also a member of the Advisory Board of the College of Architecture and Design of Enderun College.
Chat Fores Design Studio specializes in creating illusions of making small or tight spaces into spacious ones through the use of good lighting and color. The aim is to always provide clients with finished projects that exhibit timeless designs from effectively combining aesthetics and function. Mostly, the team engages in doing residential projects, commercial, hospitality, and amenity spaces for various real estate companies in the Philippines. The studio has also collaborated with international design firms such as Casa Armani, Versace Home, Missoni Home, and Yoo for residential buildings in Manila.

Chat’s design expertise and excellence didn’t go unnoticed. Her talent was recognized at the 2021 International Property Awards for her works at The Residences at the Galleon Showroom, the Joya Loft Unit, a residential apartment in Rockwell, and last but not the least, is the Azure Paris Beach Club at Azure Residences.
In the approaching BluPrint Webinar, Connecting to The New Modern, Interior Designer Chat Fores will usher us into the renewed design focus on functionality and flexibility. As the world of design is constantly evolving and new trends are emerging there’s a need to learn to adapt to the current situation, we all are living in. Chat will help us to learn new ways of presenting new materials that are emerging in the market, such as how light and neutral colors are being integrated into the designs.
