The venture is set to occupy 65,000sqm—the area between SMX and MOA Arena. IKEA Southeast Asia disclosed that it is making an initial investment of Php7 billion for opening the Philippine store. It will be the home of more than 9000 well-designed furniture and furnishings. IKEA Philippines will be similar to the other IKEA stores but the building will also house a contact center and a huge warehouse to accommodate e-commerce operations.
