Light and Love: Panasonic Philippines Introduces Its New Energy Saving Light Bulb

On July 21, 2022, Panasonic Philippines held its “Light and Love” Partners Night at Sofitel Manila. Several media representatives and Panasonic’s partner stores were in attendance. During the event, the company introduced its new addition to its product lineup–the Panasonic LED NEO. Representatives of the brand also discussed several energy-saving solutions.

The program started with a media briefing where Panasonic executives and engineers introduced the brand’s new product and its energy-saving benefits to different media outlets. Yosuke Tanaka, General Manager and Country Head of Panasonic Manufacturing Philippines Corporation, welcomed everyone with a short message. 

Lighting Solutions for Homes and Love for The Environment

For Panasonic, light does not only illuminate an object. It also enhances the atmosphere of a space and makes occupants feel more relaxed and at ease. When it comes to LED lighting, it offers higher color rendering properties which open up a new realm of possibilities. This is on top of the energy-saving properties it provides.

The brand has been innovating lighting for over 100 years in terms of technology, quality, and design methods for spaces. Panasonic LED promises to continue to achieve greater energy savings while enriching lives. The brand’s lighting solutions not only cater to residential structures but also extend commercial and industrial spaces.

Compared to incandescent light, the lifespan of Panasonic LED light is 10 times longer. It has a rated life of 12,000 hours(L70). The LED NEO bulb comes in seven wattages, 3w, 5w, 7w, 9w, 11w, 13w, and 15w. It also passed the Electromagnetic Compatibility test and lights up and operates at voltage 170-240V (Rated 220-240V). The bulb has a compact design and an E27 socket.

Apart from the LED NEO, the brand also introduced its other energy-saving products, including air conditioning units, passive infrared (PIR) sensors, and solar panels. Panasonic is doing a photo and video contest on its social media pages in line with the “Light and Love” theme. 

Panasonic is committed to providing solutions with minimal impact on the environment. During the key presentation, the brand enumerated the advantages of switching to LED NEO. These include energy efficiency, longer lifespan, eco-friendliness, compliance with product safety regulations, and availability.
