After Typhoon Rolly hit the Philippines and caused significant damages to various areas such as Albay, Catanduanes, and Camarines Sur, Filipinos anticipated whether the two coming storms will damage as much. The entire country, however, was caught off guard with the third storm after Rolly, Typhoon Ulysses (Vamco). At least 8000 families residing in low-lying suburbs were forced out of their homes due to high levels of floodwater, with many residents (and house pets) left with no choice but to scramble to their rooftops for safety while waiting for rescue teams. These sad scenarios depict a battered Philippines that is still currently recovering from a previous typhoon, all in the midst of a global pandemic.

While many Filipino families are worried about their sunken homes and spaces, a number of citizens and groups have answered the call to help, proving that the spirit of true bayanihan is unsinkable. In solidarity with our brothers and sisters, One Mega Group is organizing #RisePH, a relief operation that aims to assist at least a thousand gravely affected families.

One Mega Group Relief Operations will primarily distribute care packages that will contain essentials such as, but not limited to, food, water, and basic hygiene necessities. The company is seeking financial support to immediately deliver care packages to the victims and hopefully provide assistance to more families in need. Donations can be made via the following accounts under One Mega Group, Inc.
